No bigger than a large dog, American Miniature Horses are "miniature" versions of well-balanced horses, possessing confirmation characteristics found in most equine breeds. Miniature Horses can be found in a rainbow of colors and types.

The Comanche Indians, considered by many authorities to be the finest horsemen on the Plains, favored loud-colored horses and had many among their immense herds. Evidence of this favoritism is exhibited by drawings of spotted horses found on the painted buffalo robes that served as records for the Comanches.

If you have ever seen a horse in one of rodeo's timed events, been along for work on a ranch or watched a Western on the big or small screen, nine times out of ten you have witnessed an American Quarter Horse.

The versatility and athleticism that he exhibits in the traditional show ring have translated into success for the breed in other disciplines as well.

Andalusians are well-known for their trainability and lightness under saddle. Extraordinary athletes, they enjoy learning. Many Andalusian enthusiasts are first attracted to the breed by its beauty but become hooked by the horses’ eagerness to work and intelligence.
