I have owned and rode horses and rented horses when I did not have one of my own. I always like to watch horse movies but if they are sad I just cannot watch them. I am not a crier but if something in a movie happens to a horse I just cry . I cannot help it. My late mother could not understand it. She said I could watch a movie where people were killed and not cry but let a horse in a movie get hurt and I would just cry. I have seen Secretariat at least 4 times. I have it on vhs and on dvd plus I watch it everytime it is on t.v. I read the books on horses that they make movies on like Seabiscuit. I have not found one on Secretariat yet. When I do I will buy it. I could watch that last race at where he wins by 31 lengths over and over and I do. It is just such a good movie for horse lovers. I want to thank Disney for such a wonderful movie. I remember the talk in real life about her selling shares so to speak for breeding rights . I was young and working and did not get to keep up with what was going on . I did love the horse. My dream has always been to ride a good horse around a race track . Not to run one.
