Fair Hill International offers one of the most prestigious international three day events in the world, located at the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area in beautiful Fair Hill, Maryland.
Eventing is the ultimate test of a horse and rider. Through tests in dressage, endurance, and stadium jumping the horse and rider teams work together to show that they can compete in the most demanding and highest levels of equestrian sports.
Returning to this year’s Dansko Fair Hill International are the United States Equestrian Foundation (USEF) CCI*** and CCI** Fall Eventing Championships. These Championships regularly attract many of the world’s top eventing horses and riders such as Olympians Karen O’Connor, Boyd Martin, Phillip Dutton and Bruce Davidson.
The event starts on Wednesday morning with a Riders Briefing & Course Walk and ends on Sunday afternoon with Stadium Jumping in reverse order followed by the Awards ceremony.
In between are two days of Dressage and a Young Event Horse Competition on Thursday and Friday, and Cross-Country on Saturday.
Fair Hill International is pleased to welcome back the Professional Riders Organization this fall. PRO was founded in 2009 by professional event riders Phillip Dutton, Buck Davidson, Allison Springer, Craig Thompson and Laura VanderVliet. They were joined by twenty leading professionals, each of whom are accomplished Three-Day Event riders. These Founding Members recognize that professional riders have an obligation to strengthen, promote and contribute to the growth of the sport in North America as well as working to promote horse and rider safety.
