Most memorable riding achievement--Training with a horse with behavioral/fear issues and working through them. He put me on the ground many times during mounts, during training, and almost at a show, but with patience, treats, and perseverance, I was able to slowly gain his trust and was able to take him to his first dressage show. It was a real challenge and a great learning experience, one I will not forget.

Hardest lesson you had to learn as a rider--That horses are very fragile. I lost  my first competitive horse to a freak accident in the pasture right before our first major competition. I had to retire my first and only owned horse just when we were hitting our stride.

Pet peeves--Tardiness

Sporting philosophy--Winning is great but, a win isn’t as meaningful as performing your best.

Your criteria in an para dressage horse--Great walk and trot and over 16.3 hands since I’m 6’3”
