Elizabeth Pigott of Downington, PA, competes in the Grade II level of para-dressage competitions.
In 2009, Pigott was fifth at the 2009 Cavalor/USEF Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championships riding Carlingford JD.
Also in 2009, Pigott rode Mr. Darcy to multiple successful results. The pair had a very strong summer collecting many strong scores. In July, they competed at the Dressage at the Park show where they scored a 69.05%. The following month, Pigott and Mr. Darcy earned a 74.55% at the 2009 EEMI Summer Fling Dressage. Their scores continued to improve into September, when they earned an 83.18% at the Vada/Nova Autumn I Dressage competition.
In July 2010, Pigott and Mr. Darcy were competitors at the USEF Selection Trial/National Championship for the U.S. Para-Equestrian Team for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
In 2012, Elizabeth and One Night Stand came in 10th in the National Para-Equestrian Championships. She is on the long list for the U.S. team to the London Olympics.
