Robin Brueckmann's comments on two of her top horses:

Radetzky -- 17-hand chestnut Trakehner gelding born in 2001

Own Horse -- Yes

How long have you partnered with this horse -- Since 2006; bought him sight unseen from Sweden just barely green-broke as a five-year-old.

Competitive highlights together -- This is the horse I took to Olympics in Hong Kong. In 2008, he and I were USDF All-Breeds Champions at Third Level, Third Level Freestyle, and Third Level Vintage Cup. We finished 12th overall at Third Level Freestyle. In 2007, he was NCDCTA Training Level Year-End Champion, and in 2007 he was NCDCTA Third Level Champion and Reserve Champion All-Level Freestyle for NCDCTA.

Grade Level -- 4 Profile 23

Personality -- A timid horse who needs a lot of support, he enjoys the trails in the North Carolina mountains as well as performing in competitions.

Quirks -- His best trick is hugging a barrel.

Raison d’Etre -- 17-hand chestnut American Warmblood gelding born in 1998

On Loan from owner Elly Schobel

How long have you partnered with this horse -- New partnership in 2010. First show in March.

Competitive highlights together -- New partnership. With his own rider he was 7th in Grand Prix at Dressage at Devon.

Grade Level -- 4 Profile 23

Favorite thing about this horse -- He is a lovely, fine horse with an entirely different presentation than Radetzky, so it will be interesting to see what the judges think about these two horses.
