October 26, 2010--Totilas has arrived in Germany--but new owner Paul Schockemöhle has still given no indication on who will take over the ride. He has, however, ruled out any chance of the partnership with Edward Gal continuing.

October 14, 2010--Moorlands Totilas, the 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood that has set world records at every level of dressage under rider Edward Gal of The Netherlands, was sold right after the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games to German breeder Paul Schockemohle. Gal and "Toto" won three gold medals as members of the Dutch team.

In a move that will forever change the interest level of the sport in the U.S., a sold-out crowd witnessed as the first ever Team Gold was won on a freestyle score of 8.779 and a final composite of 8.029.

October 10, 2010--Boyd Exell accomplished something today that no other Australian has ever done at a previous Driving World Championships—he won the individual gold medal. Exell (134.04) edged Ijsbrand Chardon of the Netherlands (135.24) and Tucker Johnson of the United States (150.06).
October 10, 2010--Riders from Great Britain and Germany dominated the freestyle in all five grades of the Para Dressage World Championships at the 2010 WEG. Today’s competition decided the grade IV champion, and it was Great Britain’s Sophie Wells on Pinocchio.
October 10, 2010--The team’s lyrical performance was set to music from Sergei Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet,” Team Rosalind Ross, “That’s how we strive to set ourselves apart from the rest of the competition, by making vaulting more like a dance performance and a theater performance, not merely gymnastics on horses.”
October 10, 2010--After five days of competition, six different courses, and a total of 115 jumps, Belgium’s Philippe Le Jeune took home the gold medal. Aboard all four horses, including with his Vigo D’Arsouilles, Le Jeune was the only rider to finish with 0 faults over tonight’s four rounds.

October 10, 2010--Joanne Eccles gave Great Britain its first-ever WEG medal in vaulting as she won gold in the female individual division of the Vaulting World Championships. Patric Looser of Switzerland bested his friend and teacher, Kai Vorberg of Germany, to win the gold medal in the male individual division.
October 10, 2010--In the "Final Four" of the Show Jumping World Championship at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Philippe Le Jeune rode fault-free with each horse to win the gold. Unknown Abdullah Al Sharbatly of Saudi Arabia earned the silver medal and Eric Lamaze the bronze. Nancy Jaffer reports.
October 9, 2010--The U.S. Driving Team is now sitting in second with a combined score of 300.11, behind The Netherlands on a 273.77. Ijsbrand Chardon (NED) won the marathon phase, charging through the obstacles with speed and precision. He currently sits in second place individually behind Boyd Exell (AUS). Tucker Johnson is now ranked third individually.
October 9, 2010--Chardon won three of the eight hazards while tying for first in a fourth. The result was an impressive victory in the phase just ahead of the fleet Tomas Eriksson of Sweden. Australian Boyd Exell, the dressage victor, was third in the marathon but kept his lead overall. Nancy Jaffer reports.
October 9, 2010--The Grade III and Grade Ia Para-Equestrian athletes were ready to wow the crowds with their individual freestyle tests. This was the first group of freestyle tests for the Para-Dressage riders, with the individual and team tests having been performed earlier in the week.
October 8, 2010--The U.S. Team was represented by the world-class grand prix duo and two-time Olympic Gold medalists McLain Ward and Sapphire who have had an exceptional year in 2010. The top four finishers at the end of the two rounds will advance to the final competition on Saturday night.
